Provide the ability (while on a ticket) to create new child tickets.
For example; a ticket come in and I am the technician assigned to the ticket. To address the issue requires several steps of which I am only responsible for one part and two other technicians are responsible for two other parts. It would be nice if I can click a button (or icon) and a child ticket is created so I don't have to fill in all the fields, I just need to create a child ticket and assign it to each of the other technicians along with additional comments.
Currently the system is setup that I have to create a new ticket, type in all the information again (requester, category, etc. etc.) and click the save button. Then I need to go back to the original ticket and select the newly created ticket as a child ticket.
The current process is awkward and takes up a lot of time (not very efficient when having to process tickets quickly).
