It’s great that the Category Dropdown is now a multi-level. However, this seems to be counterintuitive on a reporting standpoint if I just want to see the stats of the Parent Category vs listing out all the subcategories.
Can anyone suggest a workaround on this?
What I might do is create a custom field called ParenCategory. I will then create a Monitor to:
When a ticket is closed
and the Category selected is Monitors & Accessories
Change “ParentCategory” to Hardware
- Is there a better way of doing this?
- Am I able to change a custom field using Monitors? I currently dont have the custom field so I’m not sure if it will show up in “Actions” within Monitors.
